My Tree Outside My Window
This tree is directly outside the window in my room. I chose this tree because of its placement. I can keep an eye on it everyday by just looking out my window. This tree looks like it is an older oak tree from how the leaves are shaped. The tree is as tall as my dorm building, which is 5 stories high, which also shows me that this tree has probably been here for at least 30 plus years. This tree has a type of moss on it that I have seen on many other trees around me. It also looks that over the years some of the branches have been cut down for reasons that I do not know. At the moment, my tree looks very bare because of the season but during the fall the leaves will turn a burnt orange and after winter they will be a bright green. I work at a nature camp in the summer so I am surrounded by these trees and, being from New Hampshire, I see these trees change each year so trees in general represent growth in my eyes. As the seasons change so do us and as we grow up, many times at our childhood homes, we have certain trees that are always there and we know that those trees have been there long before we were born and will most likely be there long after we have left. In the spring I believe this tree does not have flowers so only the leaves will begin to grow back and by the summertime I believe the tree will be a full, green leafed tree.
